Parallel worktrees and multi-agent swarm defaults
Every serious task still gets its own git worktree so agents never share a dirty tree. The cockpit makes fan-out, compare, and merge the default loop — not a special mode.

Influxx keeps treating worktrees as the unit of isolation: one agent, one directory, one branch story. That is how Claude can scaffold a site while Codex boots a simulator and Grok wires APIs without stepping on each other.

SurfStack island comes to life
The macOS notification island now renders your full workspace — repos, worktrees, active sessions, and resource metrics — directly in the menu bar. Open it and everything is there.

The SurfStack island was showing tabs and metrics in the header but the body stayed blank after install. That is fixed — the workspace panel, session list, and pod views now load and display correctly on every launch.
Switching between SurfStack and P0DZ tabs works the same way it does in window mode. The island is a real control surface, not a status indicator.

Desktop updates land automatically through the same feed the download page uses. Check for Updates pulls the latest build, applies it on next launch, and shows you what changed.

Git compatibility across native, WSL, and SSH
Influxx keeps Git 2.25 as the core-workflow baseline and capability-caches host-specific features so wrappers and old remotes do not brick the cockpit.

Commands that need newer Git degrade safely with narrow unsupported-error predicates. Capability state is scoped to the host that executes Git: native, WSL distro, SSH provider, or relay connection.

Source-control and review flows stay provider-aware — GitLab and other hosts are not second-class labels bolted onto GitHub-only naming.
Desktop downloads and live update feeds
Public macOS installers now resolve from the live update feed, so the download page and in-app updater always point at the same build just published.

The download page and in-app updater pull from the same update feed. Stable is preferred when present; otherwise the latest RC is the live channel.
First-install DMG links use the same path so a hard refresh of /download picks up a new publish instantly.
#macOS Apple Silicon first install
The public first-install artifact is a notarized Apple Silicon DMG. Homebrew casks track the same channels for brew install --cask influxx and influxx@rc.

- Only published Mac (ARM64) is listed — no placeholder x64/universal rows
- In-app Check for Updates uses the same feed as the download page
